Central Otago Pinot Celebration 2012

Queenstown in New Zealand's South Island will play host to 2012 Central Otago Pinot Noir Celebration on January 26 - 28, 2012.

Register and book now at www.pinotcelebration.co.nz/full-registration-gst.html

Early bird bookings before December 10 earn a NZ$184 discount on full programme price of NZ$1380.

There's also a limited-availability Central Otago Vintage Masterclass on Thursday January 26, prior to the main celebration which begins the next day.

This is a great event - smaller, more informal and relaxed than the bigger event in Wellington. The range of Central Otago wines on tasting is almost exhaustive and it is a wonderful opportunity to see style differences across producers and sub-regions. The committee has a history of organising top-flight tastings on the last day - traditionally exalted Burgundies, and this year's masterclass will be presented by M.Thibault Liger-Belair of Nuits St Georges

As always, the Grand Finale Dinner at the Skyline Restaurant overlooking spectacular Queenstown will be an absolute highlight with renowned Central Otago chefs Jonny Schwass and Brendon Downer preparing the sumptuous finale dinner.

Pinot Shop is located in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia at 135 Paterson Street down at the river end near Cataract Gorge, Stillwater Restaurant and The Mill Providore. We specialise in the best of premium pinot noir as grown so beautifully in the cool climes of Tasmania, New Zealand and southern parts of the big Australian continent. Our love for pinot extends to its sibling styles pinot gris and grigio and fizzy cousins sparkling wine and Champagne, even when they don’t contain pinot noir. That’s not to say we’ve become too exclusive - we also stock an interesting range of delicious wines for those (rare) times when you’re not drinking pinot…
