With stunning views over Marion Bay Fred Peacock has one of the most picturesque vineyards in Tasmania. That’s not the only thing right with the vineyard, expert viticulture in Fred’s hands produces an affordable range of reliably good wines.
The great value of the standard pinot aside, the 2005 Reserve also represents real value for such a top wine. Pure and intense fruit, spicy notes and dusty tannins in a textured package. Just going into its peak drinking period so don’t regret not buying any when you could. Only a few months supply left.
