Described by one as ‘maraschino cherry in a bottle’, this sparkling pinot nero (pinot noir) and raboso from giant Prosecco maker Carpene Malvolti is a gorgeous fizzy drink. Not too sweet, not too dry, just soft and fruity and very, very more-ish. The more tannic raboso gives great balance.
About as perfect a spring/summer aperitif as can be imagined especially with slices of rosy pink prosciutto.
