Parla Italiano?
You’ll be speaking fluent wine language at least, and have the gestures to match, after trying a premium selection of Italian wines of diverse styles and regions.

We’ve taken $30 off a six pack mix of top-selling Italian whites and reds.

The pack contains:

2010 Collesfrisio Falanghina (Abruzzo): Rich and luscious white from the quality-focused Collefrisio team. Rare and ancient variety that produces charcterful wines.

2009 Livon Soluna Malvasia (Friuli): Aromatic white from Fruili - anise, pepper, honeysuckle in a rich but dry finish.

2009 Pieropan Soave (Veneto): Pieropan is one of the best known makers of this delicious food-friendly style. Pear with fragrant flowers and cut grass on the nose and then rich but dry on the palate. Think antipasti, crispy salt cod cakes, risotto with fresh peas or chicken cooked with vinegar and anchovies.

2008 PoggioArgentieria Morellino di Scansano (Maremma,Tuscany): Made from 100% sangiovese but from the Tuscan sea coast, the Maremma, rather than better known Chianti. The nose is fine and perfumed with intense cherry scents and the faintest whiff of currant, unimpeded by oak. It has a gentle sangiovese grip but the fruit is fullsome enough to counterbalance.

2006 Bussola Valpolicella Classico (Veneto): Medium bodied, juicy blend of corvina, rondinella and molinara. Ruby red colour and a delicate and distinctive cherry/fruity bouquet. Dry with a pleasant bitterness, soft, velvety and harmonious.

2008 Fondo Antico Nero D'Avola (Sicily): Bursting with rich, ripe fruit and unencumbered by oak. Variety nero d'avola shows off all its intense cherries and almonds in delicious style.

Regular price for the six is $191 – take $25 OFF and brush up your Italian for only $166.

Pinot Shop is located in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia at 135 Paterson Street down at the river end near Cataract Gorge, Stillwater Restaurant and The Mill Providore. We specialise in the best of premium pinot noir as grown so beautifully in the cool climes of Tasmania, New Zealand and southern parts of the big Australian continent. Our love for pinot extends to its sibling styles pinot gris and grigio and fizzy cousins sparkling wine and Champagne, even when they don’t contain pinot noir. That’s not to say we’ve become too exclusive - we also stock an interesting range of delicious wines for those (rare) times when you’re not drinking pinot…
