Swansea, East Coast, Tasmania –
Very intense dark berry fruits, a la Central Otago, but with livelier acid on the palate. The fruit is undeniably pure (the bouquet is quite explosive) and there is plenty of 2008 vintage fullness on the palate. Quite delicious now but will be a beauty with at least 3 years age, better with 5.
Kelvedon Vineyard is a pinot specialist near Swansea on the East Coast of Tasmania. Julian Alcorso’s Winemaking Tasmania makes the wine.
