Martinborough (& Wairarapa) NZ –
Silky, syrupy, supple and textured, Martinborough straddles the divide between fruitiness and savouriness in divine form.

Pack contains 1 each of these wines:

  • 2008 Palliser Pinot Noir – one of the pioneer vineyards in the region. Smooth, plummy with dark cherry, exceptionally well balanced and always pleasurable.
  • 2006 Craggy Range Te Muna Road Pinot Noir – Craggy’s top-flight, ultra complex Martinborough Pinot – 94 points Bob Campbell, 93 points Parker.
  • 2008 Kiritea Pinot Noir – junior Te Hera wine with grown up pinot flavours. Slurpy and juicy, dark fruits, completely delicious.
  • 2007 Te Hera Pinot Noir – superb Martinborough pinot - plump and spicy, fantastic texture and lingering flavours.
  • 2007 Voss Pinot Noir – brambles, spicy, plum all in one tremendously satisfying package. Plushly divine. 5 stars, Cuisine Magazine
  • 2008 Wycroft Forbury Pinot Noir – Wycroft pinots have been described by Jancis Robinson as 'graceful... alluring for Burgundy lovers.' This wine was another of the 'finds' of Pinot Noir 2010 in Wellington. Its gloriously sweet and supple fruit begsto be teamed with roasted small birds like quail. Medium weight, definitely not overworked.
