Wine Preserva is a disc of padded plastic (a bit like flat bubblewrap) with rather fetching frilled and over-lapping edges, to adjust to the bottle width. Using the tongs provided in each ‘Gift Pack’ you insert the disc into the bottle, after a glass has been poured. The disc floats on top of the wine. The only downside is that each disc has just one life (despite our best efforts at retrieval) but it is worth the spend for folk who may be, tragically, drinking da solo and need to keep a bottle of pinot tasting good for a couple of days.

Pinot Shop is located in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia at 135 Paterson Street down at the river end near Cataract Gorge, Stillwater Restaurant and The Mill Providore. We specialise in the best of premium pinot noir as grown so beautifully in the cool climes of Tasmania, New Zealand and southern parts of the big Australian continent. Our love for pinot extends to its sibling styles pinot gris and grigio and fizzy cousins sparkling wine and Champagne, even when they don’t contain pinot noir.
That’s not to say we’ve become too exclusive - we also stock an interesting range of delicious wines for those (rare) times when you’re not drinking pinot…
