Milton 2021 Pinot Noir
Winery : Milton Vineyard
Milton Pinot Noir is produced from grapes grown on Milton's homestead block, planted in 1998, and from the earlier (1992) planted vines grown on the stony red soils of the Cranbrook block. The Milton property was first farmed in 1826 for wool. In 2005 the current custodians Kerry and Michael Dunbabin began producing wines under their own label.
2017 VINEYARD OF THE YEAR AWARD, Royal Agriculture Society of Tasmania
Michele's notes: For whimsical musings - a joyful, gentle style of Pinot but with persistence and complexity. Vibrantly fragrant, as always. Juicy and lithe. Fine, dry finish.
