Red fruits - cherry and currant - dominate the nose with fragrant hints of orange rind, white pepper and almond. Layers and layers of subtle flavours sweep over the palate and are sustained by a delicious glycerol note. Hints of roasted duck, tannins and acids are very balanced. It is all very intriguing and beguiling.
