2019 Bourgogne: Michele's notes - Alluring meld of small berry fruits, anise and hint of orange. Sweet spice, touch of 'animal'. Flavoursome and juicy with red cherry and mocha. Great drink, great value.
2019 Cote de Nuits Villages: Michele’s notes - Deep colour, blackberry fruit, chocolate and marzipan. Lively fruit in the mouth, layers and layers, finishing dry with savouriness. Incredibly persistent. Big mouthful.
2019 Savigny Les Beaune Les Planchots: Michele's notes - Ruby/garnet with red cherry, mushrooms and meaty notes. Smooth and juicy, quite delicious with beautiful flow across the palate, the fine fruit lingers. Liveliness and freshness, with beautiful texture. Charming!
2019 Beaune 1er Clos du Roi: Michele's notes - Red berry fruits with thyme and hints of bakery. Gentle and mysterious. Excellent depth of flavour with heaviness. Liquorice elements complement the clarity of the fruit.
2019 Gevrey Chambertin: Michele's notes - Deeply hued, aromas unfurling by degrees. Intense dark berry fruits with floral notes - red carnation. So silky in the mouth but there's excellent energy and gentle power. Harmonious blend of fruit and subtle oak. Very good indeed.
2019 Volnay 1er Fremiets: Michele's notes - Deep colour, brooding and inviting bouquet of dark chocolate, dark cherry, roasted almonds. Exciting! The aromas are matched by the bold flavours in the mouth with fruit intensity and complementary savoury and dry tannins. Impressive.
