Clarence House 2016 Reserve Pinot Noir
Winery : Clarence House
GOLD MEDAL Royal Melbourne Wine Show Nov 2017
Abundant aromas of clove, musky roses, wet stone, dark cherry... classic, elegant (yet generous) and aromatic Tasmanian Pinot. Slinky, silky and juicy in the mouth with exceptional fruit weight and fullness to acid balance; gratifying in every sense. All is in harmony now for your drinking pleasure but it will have its best years from 2019 - 2022.
Anna Pooley and Justin Bubb of Pooley Wines make the wine for the Kilpatricks from Clarence House Estate's Rokeby vines. Rokeby is part of the City of Clarence municipality on Hobart's 'eastern shore'. The vines were planted in 1998 on the site of Hobart's original market garden from the early 1800s.
