Clarence House 2021 Reserve Pinot Noir

Clarence House Estate is at Rokeby on Hobart's Eastern Shore. The vines were planted by the Kilpatricks in 1998 on the site of Hobart's original market garden from the early 1800s.

Anna Pooley and Justin Bubb of Pooley Wines make the wine. 

Michele's notes: Intriguing and complex nose - dark cherry with meaty/mushroomy/spicy overlay. With air, floral notes come through. Juicy in the mouth with lively berry fruits, vanilla from the oak and framed by fine and savoury tannins. Excellent balance, the wine is neither too heavy nor light, just a supple, pinot-perfect weight.
