Sailor Seeks Horse, one of Tasmania's cult-status pinot labels, is the creation of winemakers Paul and Gilli Lipscombe. Paul and Gilli arrived in Tasmania after studying winemaking/viticulture in Margaret River and with experience in Oregon and New Zealand. They settled in the Huon and set about reviving a derelict vineyard at Cradoc, which had been planted in 2005 and subsequently abandoned. The wines have received extraordinary acclaim from the very first releases.
Michele's notes: Bright ruby/garnet. Delightful nose of red cherry fruits, roasted tomato and fresh savoury thyme - intriguing and beguiling.
