Ricky Evans (formerly a winemaker for Bay of Fires) has been making his mark with Two Tonne Tasmania Pinot Noirs - 'small parcels, big love...' with fruit sourced from growers and his own vineyards around the state.
Dog & Wolf is his limited volume, ultra premium release.
Michele's notes: Tamar Valley fruit from Three Wishes vineyard and Waverley, which is east of Launceston. Deep magenta in the glass, aromas of plum and damask roses with spice, coffee and mocha. Concentrated but smooth in the mouth. Luscious and generous in this excellent vintage release.
