Pressing Matters Pinot Noir
Winery : Pressing Matters
Pressing Matter is based in Tasmania's Coal Valley, producing premium Pinot Noir and Riesling. In 2002 Greg Melick and fellow barrister Francis Douglas established pinot noir and riesling on a frost free, north-east facing site in the Coal Valley at Tea Tree under the expertise of Robert Drew (Drew Wines). Riesling from this site received a lot of attention in the early vintages. Recent vintages of the Pinot Noir have also been highly acclaimed.

2015 Pressing Matters Pinot Noir: Michele's notes: Magnificent pinot noir. Meaty on the nose with jubes, plums, licorice, cocoa and more. It explodes on the palate with rich, flowing, slurpy, syrupy pinot goodness. The wine is superbly structured and has a savoury firmness on the finish to counterbalance all that power-packed fruit. It's a 'wow' experience. Built to enjoy now and to last.
