Barringwood 2021 Pinot Noir

The first vines of Barringwood's original Lower Barrington vineyard (in Tasmania's north west) were planted in 1993. After Vanessa and Neville Bagot purchased Barringwood in 2012 they set about planting two new vineyards - one at Cranbrook on the East Coast and another one at Evandale, just south of Launceston.

This deliciously easy-drinking new release comprises fruit from all of the three vineyards, bringing together the fruit generosity of the east coast, with the fine fragrance and fine structure bestowed by the Tamar and NW sites.

Michele's notes: Vibrant colour. The aromatics become more alluring by the minute - cherry/berry fruits mingle with rose florals and fresh herbs. Very smooth, flowing and ultra supple in the mouth, the beautiful Tasmanian fruit combines with low-key oak. It is absolutely yummy!
