Resolution Vineyard 2020 Pinot Noir

Resolution Vineyard is a tiny, family-owned property at Middleton in Tasmania's southern D'Entrecasteaux Channel, the picturesque waterway between the main island and Bruny Island. Here, we find Pinots of excellent depth of flavour, volume and persistence, a result of the high latitudes (43South) and long, long ripening period. 

Michele’s notes: Vivid ruby red, aromatic with bold red cherry, blueberry, wet stone and wafts of fennel seed and cardamom. Hint of charcuterie as well. Vivacious and very tasty in the mouth. Medium weight but with delicious persistence of pristine fruit flavours, matched with a little almond/vanilla from the oak and finishing with the finest of tannins. This gentle persistence is one of the wine’s most admirable features.

A very good companion for white meats, seafood stews and gently spicy dishes.
