Back Paddock 2020 Pinot Noir
Winery : Back Paddock
Back Paddock Vineyard is so named as it is located in the back paddock of James and Vanessa Bresnehan’s family farm, near Campania in Tasmania's Coal River Valley. The vineyard occupies some nine hectares, with some vines being over 20 years of age. James Bresnehan is the winemaker.
Michele's notes: Medium density with ruby/garnet hues. Classic pinot aromas of red cherry, spice and fresh herbs, notably thyme. On the palate the flavours build in a subtle way. This is an excellent, medium-weight style, well suited to a wide variety of food.
