Brian Franklin's Apsley Gorge Vineyard is situated 14km north of Bicheno on Tasmania's East Coast. The very long season builds intense flavour and texture in the wines.
Michele's notes: Brilliant gold. Florals, nuttiness, butterscotch, salty sea breezes. Powerful in the mouth with a dry/rich character as well as taut, minerally line. The flavours keep on and on. Hedonistic and satisfying chardonnay. Exceptional.
