Clarence House 2018 Reserve Pinot Noir
Winery : Clarence House
Clarence House Estate is at Rokeby on Hobart's Eastern Shore. The vines were planted by the Kilpatricks in 1998 on the site of Hobart's original market garden from the early 1800s.
Anna Pooley and Justin Bubb of Pooley Wines make the wine.
Michele's notes: Exquisitely aromatic. Dark raspberry, cardamom and thyme with hint of marzipan. Wonderfully lithe pinot in the mouth; juiciness and energy within a very fine framework of complex fruit and chalky tannins. Not heavy, not light, balanced and harmonious in all aspects. This lovely wine captures all the best attributes of pinot noir.
