Clarence House is an historic property at Rokeby on Hobart's eastern shore. The property was the site of Hobart's market garden in the early 1800s. David Kilpatrick planted the first vines in 1998. Anna Pooley and Justin Bubb of Pooley make the wine. Block 1 is made from a block of 777 clone vines which are now 20 years.
Michele's notes: Vintage 2020 - Bright magenta. Brilliantly aromatic with cherry, vanilla, cardamom and brioche. The sweet fruit floods the palate with energy and freshness, along with layered depth. The flavours gently build, leaving an exotic note of Turkish Delight. Serene pinot, very flavoursome. Highly recommended Tasmanian Pinot Noir.
