Clarence Plains 2019 JV Pinot Noir
Winery : Clarence House
Clarence House was built in 1830 on land at Rokeby, on Hobart's eastern shore and was the site of the original market garden for Hobart. Current owner David Kilpatrick planted vines on the NE slopes of Clarence Plains in 1998.
Michele's notes: Deep colour with a purplish/magenta hue, indicative of its youthful vitality. The aromas are particular enticing, deeper and quite brooding, tending to dark plum and currant fruits with cola and cinnamon. There's plenty to like here with generously smooth pinot flavours that linger well.
