Now: $278.00

North and east of Hobart in the vicinity of Richmond and Campania, Coal Valley gives concentration, dark berry fruits and plenty of pinot bang for your buck.

Pack contains 1 each of these wines:

  • 2014/15 Pooley Cooinda V Pinot Noir: Delicacy with persistence and fine-boned structure. From mature vines off the original Cooinda Vale Campania site.
  • 2013 Glaetzer Dixon Reveur Pinot Noir: Briary and intense with luscious pinot volume in the mouth. Ultra premium pinot noir from Nick Glaetzer who won the Jimmy Watson Trophy with a Tasmanian shiraz.
  • 2015 572 Richmond Road Pinot Noir: Lusciously textured and sweetly perfumed pinot from one of the region's uber small producers.
  • 2013 Morningside Pinot Noir: The Bosworth’s vineyard at Tea Tree has been producing much admired pinots for more than a twenty years. Vine age shows in the subtle but persistent flavours and excellent ageing potential. Bright crimson in the glass with aromas of spice, almond, anise and sweet cherry.
  • 2014 Third Child Benjamin's Reserve Pinot Noir: Rich and dark, it is laden with dark cherries and plums, the oak complementary to the concentrated fruit. Third Child Vineyard is at Tea Tree, 2.5hectares are planted to 9 clones of pinot noir. This is definitely a vineyard to watch.
  • 2012 Clemens Hill Aurelia RESERVE Pinot Noir: Ultra smooth in perfect drinking condition, fine tannins wrap up intense and lively fruit. Top performer in recent tastings.

Pinot Shop is located in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia at 135 Paterson Street down at the river end near Cataract Gorge, Stillwater Restaurant and The Mill Providore. We specialise in the best of premium pinot noir as grown so beautifully in the cool climes of Tasmania, New Zealand and southern parts of the big Australian continent. Our love for pinot extends to its sibling styles pinot gris and grigio and fizzy cousins sparkling wine and Champagne, even when they don’t contain pinot noir. That’s not to say we’ve become too exclusive - we also stock an interesting range of delicious wines for those (rare) times when you’re not drinking pinot…
