  • 2014 Dawson & James Pinot Noir - GOLD MEDAL 2016 Royal Melbourne Wine Show; DOUBLE GOLD 2016 Six Nations Trophy. This exceptional pinot, with its richness yet balance, is sourced from old vines from the Upper Derwent Valley Glenora vineyard.
  • 2015 Stefano Lubiana Estate Pinot NoirGranton is north of the Bridgewater Bridge just out of Hobart's northern suburbs. Elegant and refined but a pinot with backbone too, packs a flavour punch but with very stylish pinot traits. Biodynamic viticulture, mature vines, 'hands off' winemaking and wild yeast have given wonderful structure and texture with delicious chewy fleshiness.
  • 2015 Derwent Estate Pinot Noir – One of the best pinot releases ever from this well-established vineyard. Perfect balance, pure but very intense fruit, full, lingering flavours. In the Granton super zone along with Lubiana and Laurel Bank. One of the 'great finds' from the 9th Tasmanian Pinot Showcase in July of last year.
  • 2015 Domaine Simha Lionheart Amphora Pinot: Single vineyard Pinot from mature vines. Wild yeast, unfined and unfiltered. Kentish cherry pie, candied orange rind, dried cranberry. Silky, supple, stemmy, vivacious, but surprisingly richer than you initially expect.
  • 2015 Laurel Bank Pinot Noir – Generous fruit on the nose with coffee, spice and, intriguingly, layers and layers of complementary scents - briar, meat, star anise and sweet cinnamon spice. In the mouth it is plush as always, quite voluminous but with the perfect firm edge to finish.
  • 2016 Clarence Plains Pinot Noir – Rokeby, on the eastern shore of the Derwent River, is home to the junior vines from Clarence House Estate. Excellent rich pinot flavours in this super value wine.
