2017 Dog & Wolf Pinot Noir (white label): Tamar Valley fruit. Bright & pretty magenta. Vivacious with generous aromatics. Initial food-friendly astringency in the mouth gives way to sweeter fruit that lingers. Texturally it is very interesting; there's a lushness but also a refreshing, clean finish.
2017 The Wolf Pinot Noir (red label): SOLD OUT Deep colour, more brooding wine. Smoky, toasted szechuan pepper, charcuterie and black fruits on the nose. Plum and more dark fruits in the mouth. Round and full in flavour. 100% whole bunch (doesn't show!) from Swan Bay (East Tamar).
