Mount Edward is a venture between winemaker Duncan Forsyth (ex Peregrine) and proprietor John Buchanan. Nothing is forced - organic farming, 'natural' winemaking and the wines show perfect balance that becomes more and more evident with age. Mount Edward is a Bio Gro certified organic vineyard, the pinots are neither filtered nor fined.

2015 Mount Edward Pinot Noir: Blended from 3 vineyards in the Lowburn and Bannockburn sub regions; estate vineyards of Morrison and Muirkirk plus a grower vineyard in Pisa Terrace. Vineyard notes: 'Silky and lush texture, concentrated fruit power yet finely balanced with fine tannins throughout and long in flavour. No filtration or fining, deposits may form.'

We specialise in the best of premium pinot noir as grown so beautifully in the cool climes of Tasmania, New Zealand and southern parts of the big Australian continent.
