Nocton Vineyard 2020 Pinot Noir
Winery : Nocton Vineyard
Nocton Vineyard was established in Tasmania's Coal Valley in 1999. The property was originally part of the Carrington Plains estate (c1814), owned by a succession of early Governors of Van Diemans Land. The vines are planted on north-east facing slopes of dolerite soils over calcareous and sandstone subsoils.
Michele's notes: Enveloping bouquet of dark fruits, ferrous elements, mushrooms and spice. Luscious and oh so tasty with layers of smooth and rich fruit. Touch of salty liquorice at the end. There’s a lot of classic Coal River Valley flavour here.
