Pooley Pinot Noir
Winery : Pooley Wines
Pooley Pinot Noir (aka 'Regional Blend') is made from Pooley Estate fruit, both the original Cooinda Vale vineyard and 'newer' Butcher's Hill, as well as top parcels from other blocks in the Coal River Valley region. Made by Anna Pooley and Justin Bubb.
Cellar Release Mixed SIX contains TWO EACH of the following vintages. The wines are not available for separate sale.
2018 Pooley Pinot Noir: Winemaker notes - 'Perfumed notes of dark cherry, kirsch, forest fruits, and strawberry on the nose. On the palate, red fruits carry through with further notes of subtle dried herbs, cinnamon, aniseed and cedar spice. Soft tannins, supple fruits and freshness...'
2019 Pooley Pinot Noir: Generously flavoured release of Pooley Pinot. Red and black fruits with spice; lovely volume and texture in the mouth.
2020 Pooley Pinot Noir: Pretty nose of cherries, candied violets and roses, with hint of beef tartare and orange rind. Fine but firm structure, the cherry fruit to the fore.
