In 2002 Greg Melick and fellow barrister Francis Douglas established pinot noir and riesling on a frost free, north-east facing site in Tasmania's Coal River Valley at Tea Tree.
Michele's notes: Fabulously (and typically) deep colour - 'black as your hat'! Lose yourself in the sensational bouquet of liquorice, satsuma plum, dark briar fruits, and heady floral elements.
Vibrant and intense fruit flavours on the palate. The flavours and nuances build with each sip. Judicious acidity and fine but supportive tannin structure ensure a long and rewarding life in the cellar.
