Astrolabe is the creation of Marlborough savvy master Simon Waghorn. He's had huge international success with this label, Astrolabe has been twice winner of the 'Best Sauvignon Blanc' at the International Wine Challenge London.
Astrolabe 'Province' Sauvignon Blanc is the previously labelled 'Voyage' and is a blend of all Astrolabe's sites across the Marlborough region.
Winemaker notes 2012 Astrolabe Sauvignon Blanc:
- Colour/Appearance: Pale straw with green highlights.
- Aroma/Bouquet: Lemon grass, lime peel and elderflower, with background notes of white currant and red pepper.
- Palate: Medium-bodied with currant, gooseberry and citrus flavours, and a dry mineral finish.
This is Pinot Shop's top-selling sauvignon blanc.
