Utzinger Roter Satz Field Blend

Lauren and Matthias Utzinger have been producing wine from Tamar Valley fruit since vintage 2018. In that year they also planted their own vineyard near Legana, and it is now the source of superb Pinot, Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc and Syrah grapes. In a very short time, Matthias has developed a reputation as one of the state's best winemakers.

Vineyard Notes; 

West Tamar fruit (Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir), hand-picked, fully destemmed, wild ferment, extended time on skins, basket pressed into old and new French oak barrels, unfined, unfiltered, cork.

Dark crimson red. black current, cooked plum, sour cherry, vanilla and white pepper flavours.
