Glen Ayr is a well-established Coal Valley vineyard, part of the historic StrathAyr farming property which dates back to 1820. The vineyard was planted in 1975, making it the second to be established in the Coal River Valley. Some of the vine material is over 50 years old, which has the effect of producing very stable wines across Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Shiraz.
