The Onannon Mornington Peninsula Pinot Noir is the estate's flagship regional blend, crafted as a "sum of its parts" from seven distinct vineyard sites including Tuerong, Main Ridge, and Red Hill. This wine is celebrated for its bright, "drink-now" appeal, characterized by a vibrant aromatic profile of fresh cherries, strawberries, and roses intertwined with savory "autumnal" notes and Middle Eastern spices. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and "pristine," offering a silken texture balanced by mouth-watering acidity and fine-grained tannins. Winemaking typically involves a portion of whole-bunch fermentation (around 20%) and minimal new oak to ensure the fruit's purity and the Peninsula's unique maritime terroir remain the central focus.
