Pages Creek 2016 Pinot Noir
Winery : Pages Creek
Pages Creek Estate was established by Peter Lowrie in 1999 on a 5.4ha property in Tasmania's Coal Valley. It is named after the creek which runs through the estate. Nearby Winemaking Tasmania makes the wine in an age-worthy style.
Mid ruby colour with aromas of sweet cherries and spice (white pepper). Cola, char and plum fruit in the mouth; finishes dry with a lick of youthful acidity. These two elements are important for Pages Creek's ability to improve in the cellar.
Vintage 2006 (under cork in those days) won a Gold Medal and took out the TROPHY for Best Value Pinot at Tas Wine Show in 2010. Vintage 2013 was also a Gold Medallist at the 2015 Royal Hobart Wine Show.
