Parish Vineyards Riesling vineyard is at Sorell in Tasmania's south east. It is part of the Hill-Smith Family Estates. Labelled as 12% and DRY on the International Riesling Scale.
Vineyard Notes: Fresh and fragrant with aromas of native daisy, citrus zest, lychees and hints of white nectarine. The palate is fresh with zippy, slatey acidity and textured complexity. Expressive flavours of lime zest, grapefruit pith and dried lavender. The natural sweetness is balanced by refreshing acidity and a talcy, slightly savoury edge on the finish with lingering fruit.
