Opening notes of mocha and raspberry, some medicinal (think Maraschino cherries) and cayenne pepper overlaid with roasted bell pepper.
Juicy palate, blueberry pie, hints of tarragon. Tannins are supportive and carry the acids and fruit, finishes with a sliver of lardons/braised beef. A blend of Kayena, Hazards and grower’s fruit. Eleven months in French oak, 15% new. 12% abv
