Ata Rangi Crimson Pinot Noir
Winery : Ata Rangi
Looking more and more like a junior Ata Rangi as those 'young' vines grow up to more than 20 years old and each new vintage is released. It's succulent, briary and charry with chewiness from excellent skin tannins and just enough (old) oak. '... a bit of grunt in there' says winemaker Clive Paton.
Sales of this pinot noir support the work of PROJECT CRIMSON, the charitable conservation trust whose mission is to plant and protect New Zealand's native pohutukawa and rata trees.
Ata Rangi is based in Martinborough, New Zealand.
