Gerald Ellis planted Meadowbank Vineyard at Glenora in the Upper Derwent Valley in 1976, making him a tasn pioneer of the modern region. In the last couple of years winemaker Peter Dredge (ex Bay of Fires and now Dr Edge) has teamed with the Ellis family and Alex Deane to re-invigorate the Meadowbank wine label with great success

JIMMY WATSON TROPHY WINNER 2025

Plummy and meaty on the nose, juicy and supple on the palate, the flavours build slowly but surely. Ultra fine, chalky tannins on the finish. Old vine material shows in the incredible persistence of flavour.
