Freycinet 2023 Pinot Noir

Freycinet Vineyard was established near Coles Bay on Tasmania's East Coast in the late 1970s by the Bull family. Winemaker Claudio Radenti takes an unforced approach to making this iconic Australian Pinot Noir. Meticulous viticulture and very simple winemaking techniques allow the fruit from this natural amphitheatre site, to have all the say. These are age-worthy wines.

Michele's notes: Deep ruby/crimson. Beautifully fragrant bouquet of dark cherry, blackberry, Turkish Delight and dark chocolate. It really is a delight.

Luscious and intense sweet dark fruit floods the palate. Savoury notes of bresaola, salty capers and orange rind are a foil to the rich fruit. So very persistent and satisfying. It gives and gives with each sip.
