Jonny & Matt Hughes' Mewstone Wines was awarded BEST NEW WINERY in the 2019 Halliday Wine Companion. Hughes & Hughes is their ready-to-go, sometimes experimental range, with fruit sourced from premium plots in northern and southern tas as well as from the home base at Flowerpot in the D'Entrecasteaux Channel.

Beautifully scented pinot noir with blueberry to the fore. Sleek and lithe in the mouth with gently persistent flavours. The balance between fruit and oak (very little new oak) is impeccable; the oak serving simply to frame the pure fruit and give structural elements. An elegant, but also extremely flavoursome pinot noir.
