Winemaker Nick Glaetzer is from the famous South australian Glaetzer family. He came to tas to work at Frogmore Creek Wines in tas's Coal Valley but these days sees him focusing on his own highly acclaimed wines. In 2011 Nick was the recipient of the 'Wine australia Medal', effectively AGT WINE's 'young winemaker of the year' award, acknowledging his status as one of this country's rising stars. He capped off that stellar year by winning the Jimmy Watson Trophy with his tasn 'Mon Pere' Shiraz. Still, crafting beautiful pinot noir remains the focus.

Fresh and vivacious pinot. It drinks so well in its youth and this, slightly more concentrated version in V17, is no different. Raspberry brioche, food-friendly savouriness, very appealing.
