There is a whiff of pinot funk that gives way to sweet red cherry and red currant, spice, bacon lardons and earthy notes. Layered fruit and savoury flavours in the mouth, ripe cherry mingling with peppery notes and strap liquorice. Ultra fine tannins on the finish.
