Chardonnay - Apsley Gorge 2024 Chardonnay

Brian Franklin's Apsley Gorge Vineyard is situated 14km north of Bicheno on Tasmania's East Coast. The very long season builds intense flavour and texture in the wines.

Michele's notes: Mid gold hues. Lanolin, nectarine, glazed lemon slices, hazelnut, iodine and hints of celery salt. In the mouth, savoury and fruity elements (quince, melon) combine in a powerful way; the flavour persistence is amazing. Grapefruit pith gives a tangy complement to the honeyed and nutty nougat characters from the oak.
