The Droin family is one of the oldest wine producing families in Chablis with over 5 centuries of production. They have 25ha of vines with superbly sited parcels in 7 of the top Premier Crus and 5 Grand Crus. The family domaine is now managed by Jean-Paul and Benoit Droin, the 13th and 14th generations respectively.
2020 Droin AC Chablis: Generous and lively with notes of lemon, oyster shell and flint. Perfect with cheese puffs (gougeres).
2019 Droin AC Chablis: Flavour-packed Chablis. Nougat and sweet citrus, peach guava and exotic tropicals too. Smooth but with verve in the mouth - melon, charcuterie and barley sugar.
2020 Droin 'Vaillons' 1er Cru Chablis: From 6 different climats that see 15% of new and one year old wood. The name comes from 'vallon', meaning valley. Classic minerally characters.
