Winemaker Greer Carland is the daughter of Kerry Carland of Laurel Bank, a pioneer of the Granton area of tas's Derwent Valley. She has been making wine in tas for 14 years, including as Senior Winemaker with contract giant tasn Vintners (formerly named Winemaking tas). Fruit for this Riesling is sourced from the Derwent Valley.

Michele's notes: This is the style of riesling that tas does so well - the long cool ripening season imbuing the wine with incredible depth of flavour and soft richness without compromising freshness. Florals and sweet mandarin citrus on the nose. Exquisitely balanced palate, layers of intense fruit flavours backed by judicious acid. It is drinking very well as a young wine, but will also cellar splendidly.
