The Antinoris celebrated their 600 years of wine production in 1985 by purchasing the Peppoli Estate in Chianti. A small addition of merlot smooths out the grippier sangiovese, making this an ever-reliable, top-notch Chianti. One of the classics of the region.
Peppoli sports the Gallo Nero (black rooster) on its pink Chianti Classico ribbon.
