Barringwood Park 2013 Estate Pinot Noir
Barringwood Park is highly-acclaimed vineyard in the
Sheffield area of tas's north-west.
Ultra cool conditions mean very long and slow ripening, which builds flavour while retaining delicacy and fine structure.
The wines have recently undergone a packaging transformation and now there's also a new release Barringwood Park 'Estate' Pinot Noir to sit alongside the famous 'Mill Block' single block Pinot.
The Estate Pinot is a bright aromatic style with notes of light cherry and mixed Christmas spice. Lovely purity of fruit. Soft and enticing palate with subtle texture which will develop into silky bliss with a little time in bottle. Very easy to drink and opens up beautifully in the glass.
