Dalwhinnie 2020 Three Valleys Tasmania Pinot Noir
Winery : Dalwhinnie
A Tasmanian Pinot release from well-known Victorian producer Dalwhinnie. As the name suggests, the fruit is sourced from three valleys - Coal River, Derwent and Huon - and from vines of more than 40 years age.
Michele's notes: Lovely crimson hues. A little hint of funky reduction gives way to a fragrant cherry fruit overlaying gamey notes, marzipan, and spice. It is complex and intriguing. Very tasty and flowing in the mouth; the fruit sings and persists backed by subtle use of oak. The old vine material shows itself in the wine's essential balance and elegance.
