Peter Dawson and Tim James are friends and winemakers who worked together at Hardy's for 20 years from the late 1970s. Subsequently they moved on to other companies and ventures, among them Dawson & James Wines, under which they make a Tasmanian Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from upper Derwent Valley old vine fruit.
