GIN JOURNEY & TASTING with BERT SHUGG on Saturday February 6 at Pinot Shop
Bert Shugg will lead us on a gin journey through the fascinating history, making, style and mixing of this most popular, and currently very hip, spirit.
Retired medico Shugg makes his artisinal gin at Wilmot in Tasmania's pristine Mt Roland country-side. A rich, complex and spicy gin with refreshing lift of lime citrus, it's made from purely distilled ethanol and the finest botanicals which Bert sources from around the world. A customer testimonial says it all - '... a bunch of us were in Hobart last weekend and we had the (Retiring) gin at Frank for lunch. It is SUPERB!'
Sip on a classic G&T, Negroni, and Martini (plus more gin based delights) while you enjoy the erudite Bert Shugg tell his enlightening tales. Tasty nibbles will be provided.
